• Notification dots

With Android O notifications are now grouped into channels which allows have great control over apps notification. Google says users can now change or block the behaviour of each channel respectively, unlike managing all the apps notification together. Again this feature allows user to snooze notifications for about an hour or more.

• New emoji

Google wants to replace the gumdrop emoji style, making rounder face icons for Android O. New emojis like wizard, fairy tales, giraffe, throwing up and many more are now available.
